There are multiple casual positions available across northern and southern suburbs for support workers who have demonstrated experience working with clients presenting behaviors of concern. What you need to succeed: - Be a passionate, reliable, and dedicated support worker who is looking to grow and further develop your skills
- Strong ability to work collaboratively with others to ensure a consistent approach to enable clients to reach their goals.
- Experience in working with behaviours of concern and implementing Positive Behaviour Support strategies and plans.
- Knowledge of the autism spectrum and effective strategies for support.
- Experience supporting clients in their homes and the community
Essential requirements: - Certificate III or IV in Individual Support / Disability or similar equivalent qualification
- Willing to obtain a suitable psychological assessment for DCP Programs
- National Police Clearance within the last 3 months
- NDIS Worker Screening Check and DHS Working with Children Check
- Availability to work across 24/7 roster
- Full Australian Drivers Licence
- First Aid and CPR training
- Child Safe Environment training
- Assist with Medication training
